The Freezstop Low Voltage FLVw cable is a self-regulating semi-conductive matrix heating cable used for freeze protection in civil and industrial applications with temperatures up to 85°C. Its self-regulating characteristics make it very reliable and safe. It also does not produce overheating or burning, even when overlaid. FLVw heating cable can be cut to length on site to the required length of the pipes, valves, pumps on which it is to be installed. It can be spliced and branched in parallel with extreme ease of design and installation and it is not necessary to know the exact layout of the system when ordering. No special equipment is required for its installation and it is secured to pipes with simple adhesive tape. The kits include supply-side and terminal-side terminations and cable glands for connecting the heating cable directly into the power supply box.
Temperature curve:
The graph shows the power rating supplied with a 24 V ac power supply and the cable installed on a suitably insulated metal pipe and dimensioned according to standards IEC 62395 and IEC 60079-30
Maximum circuit length in metres depending on the size of the circuit breaker used and 230V ac power supply:
With differential circuit breaker protection 30 mA curve C according to IEC60898
