FAILSAFE FSS is a self-regulating heating cable with semi-conductive matrix suitable for high operating temperatures up to 225°C.

Its inherent ability to self-limit its temperature to a value below the maximum allowed by the materials used in its construction allows it to be used without any need for thermostatic control. Furthermore, the cable is manufactured using FAIL SAFE technology and does not produce power at its maximum operating temperature. For this reason, the maximum operating temperature is the same whether the cable is powered or not.

Installation is quick and easy as it can be cut, branched and terminated to size directly on site without the need for special equipment.
