Leak detection

In a world increasingly aware of environmental impact, the constant monitoring of oil, hydrocarbon, acid and even water leaks plays a continuously more important role.

Ensuring that a data centre does not suffer flooding that would compromise its functionality, monitoring that oil tanks or pipelines do not leak pollutants, making sure that battery parks do not come into contact with water leaks are some of the main applications of the TTK leak detection system.

The proposed system is not only capable of detecting leaks but also of locating them with an accuracy of 1 metre. Digital leak detection systems consist of a series of addressable detection cables and a digital unit. These detection cables are often installed under raised floors to protect critical areas and communicate with the panel via a serial digital interface. In the event of a leak on a cable, the digital panel immediately triggers an audible alarm and displays the location of the leak (with an accuracy of 1 metre) on an interactive map, allowing fast action to reduce downtime.
